How about an update? In "Superstate," I laid out what the future of the Middle East and Northern Africa should look like. Among other things, I mentioned Jordanian involvement. What is happening?

What appears to be happening is a growing regional mobilization against ISIL, and Jordan will be one of the main contributors. This is in cooperation with the Saudis.

Egypt, Ethiopia, Libya, and the rest of the Arabian Peninsula seem to be the targets here, thus forming a "bloc" of sorts dominated by the Saudis.

What we appear to be seeing is simply the region shifting to meet the growing security and stability challenges brought by the group.

You see, this is another primary reason for draining the Nile.

There will be no safe haven for the likes of ISIL. This is doubly true when everyone around them despises them and is offended by their presence.

This is what you call "picking your poison."
