Saudi Arabia's decades-long inability (or outright unwillingness) to work toward better relations with the Muslim Brotherhood has come to a tipping point, it seems. It's either rapproachment with the Muslim Brotherhood or risk seeing more nations and governments fall in line with Tehran's leading. In exchange for collaboration against AQAP (common enemy) and newfound Saudi expansion into North Africa, would the Saudis be willing to accept (or even embrace) the incoming Houthis? It's a good deal for Saudi Arabia, but does Riyadh really have any other choice? That said, here is a brief synopsis describing an earmark of Christian living. Without being self-righteous, we may say (or think) "While I may not be perfect, there are simply some lines in life that I am not willing to cross." Delineating the space that exists between the clean and the unclean. The holy and the unholy. The pure and the defiled. The pertinent and the profane. Being cognizant and aware of these differences. Applying this knowledge to your everyday life. Living in the Spirit and walking in it. Here's a good rule of thumb: if it lacks class or purpose, it can probably be done without. (I confess that off-the-record conversations between me and Randy can get a little bit salty at times. But again, this is off-the-record.) On a related note, the intended consumer (or "target audience") should be kept in mind and respected. What do I mean by that? Adult material not intended for children should be labeled as such. Children should not consume this media until parents deem them mature enough to handle it. Thought of in another way, keep the common areas clean! It goes a long way, and God surely takes notice. In other words, swearing is a societal/public issue. Furthermore, there is a time and place for most things. Just mind the boundaries.
