Iran (Then I Quit.)

The body of a sanctions/nuclear deal with Iran is slowly being fleshed out. What's going on? One of the main selling points is that Iran's centrifuge system will be reduced from 10,000 active centrifuges to just 6,000. This would place them approximately one year away from being able to scratch out enough Uranium to build a weapon. One aspect of the deal that I have been reaching for has been daily, in-person inspections at all of Iran's nuclear sites. This positioning would allow us to know exactly when Iran might make a break for the bomb, and allow us plenty of time to be ready for that day, should it come. We will be ready. The deal might also sunset after 20 years, not the 10 first suggested. This deal allows for greater scrutiny of their program. Scrutiny that does not exist today. It does not allow for an Iranian bomb.

We give up sanctions in exchange for time and oversight. Plain and simple. There will be war one day, but that day is not today.
