Where do I stand on this whole RFRA controversy stemming out of Indiana and Arkansas? First, no pizza place: 1) Should be forced to cater a Gay wedding. 2) Should be able to refuse service to Gay or Transgender persons simply on that basis. ("These people are f*gg*ts, I'm not going to serve them pizza.") If catering a Gay wedding burdens your ability to exercise your religion, you shouln't be forced to do so. That said, serving pizza on a day-to-day basis to Gays and Transgenders should place no burden upon someone's ability to exercise their religion. These cases would have to be able to stand up in court. One great example brought up by Mark Levin was a hypothetical doctor being faced with a patient who requested an abortion. If it conflicts with the doctor's religious beliefs, should he be required to perform the abortion? I say no. It isn't discriminating against people who have abortions. It is protecting the doctor's rights. I have a few hypothetical situations, myself. What if the federal government (or a state) passed legislation requiring a computer in every Amish home for the purposes of communicating better with every citizen in case of an emergency? Or what if the federal government (or a state) passed a law requiring Jehovah's Witnesses to accept blood transfusions in the case of a medical emergency? You might consider them somehow "backwards." I just leave them alone. Bottom line is, it is possible to both protect freedom of religion as well as protect our citizens from discrimination. The updated law in Indiana does just this. In other news, the outline for a comprehensive nuclear deal with Tehran has emerged from the diplomatic talks that went into overtime. What are the main sticking points? 1) Iran agrees to enrich its Uranium to only 3.67%. (90% is required for weaponization) 2) Iran goes from 19,000 centrifuges to 6,104. 3) Iranian Uranium stockpiles go from 10,000 kg to 300kg.

4) The IAEA gains access to all of Iran's nuclear facilities. 5) Seeing that they keep their end of the bargain, the crippling sanctions related to their nuclear program will be lifted. It is a comprehensive, safe, working plan that is to be fleshed out in greater detail. Great work on behalf of our diplomatic team. I urge Congress to support the plan, as well. Thank you, and may God bless you.
