Syria.

President Barack Obama set a red line in Syria (chemical weapons) that was ultimately breached. The only problem is, we (the US) set off these chemical weapons on Syrian civilians in a clandestine attempt to justify war (and the destruction of Damascus, among other things). To say that Assad "has to go" back then was one thing. (Now, I find this to be the case. There is no path forward to peace with Assad still in place in Syria.) But to jerry-rig a conflict for personal and selfish reasons is another story, and this sad truth needs to be exposed. Obama's reasoning and methodology were outright fraudulent. Assad needs to go the way of the 8-track, but the provided reasoning behind this calculation needs to be corrected for the historical record. Thank you.
