"Drive"

From what source does one's sexual orientation stem? In my entry "Break it Down," I arrived at the conclusion that the latest research seems to point toward hormone levels in the womb, and the effect this might have on in-utero brain formation. I want to take the conversation a step forward. What if one's subjective experience of their own sexual orientation was at least partially influenced by a component of their soul?
(It is important to note that "consciousness" is synonymous with soul. It is comprised of one's thoughts, drive, and emotions.)
Where am I going with this? As you may know, angels (heavenly spirits) also have a drive, as they have a soul. One component of the will (drive) that resides within them is a sex drive, just as humans have a sex drive. If this were not true, they would never have mated with human women. Need me to keep going? Angels have no body, and therefore no brain. Keep going still? Many angels (by their own admission) deal with same-sex attraction, much like many humans do. This brings me back to my original point: Maybe the soul you were born with just isn't straight. Maybe it influences your behavior.
Maybe it's more than just neurology and physiology.
Maybe the answer is multifactorial. I appreciate your contributions to a worthwhile and provocative discussion.
