Image = Likeness
"Resemblance" is another word for likeness. Meaning not an exact copy, but a replica that lies somewhere within the same area code as the original. I am not actually a cop, although I am rendered as a cyborg law enforcement agent on screen. I am not a soldier (at least not yet anyway), but I've been rendered as a soldier numerous times on screen. I am not a hacker or programmer, but I've been rendered as one on screen many times. The reason for this? Along with the need to bear witness of me, there was also a desire to entertain the public. A bunch of movies and shows that all looked and sounded exactly alike? It wouldn't fly. That said, I wanted to be explicit rather than implicit here. I'm not going to be vague. How should one interpret all of this? I am to some of these screen portrayals as Jesus was to God the Father. People actually wanted to stone Him because He claimed to be, as a man, God. He said that although the Father was greater than He, the two were one. As a matter of fact, Jesus' favorite (preferred) title was "Son of Man." He expanded to "God" and went back to the "Son of Man" rather quickly. He didn't "hold onto" it. Basically, you can wear the clothes, but be aware of the fact that you will be swimming in them. They could use some tailoring. Without taking anything away from anyone else, I and those close to me have been through a lot in our own right. One shot to death. Two of us brought to death's door. I've also had cancer numerous times. Everything has been thrown at me except bullets and the kitchen sink. Strychnine, Arsenic, Cyanide, Mercury. Things I can't even identify or recognize. Even though our experiences may be different, our attitudes are exactly the same. We (Me + Cops and soldiers) are all willing to lay our lives on the line for others, with little to no regard for self. We've all done just that, and that's the takeaway point here. Enjoy the show.
