Just like cleaning your room, restoration is something that needs to be done periodically. As long as sin and death remain a part of this world, that is. God's original episode of restoration rescued the polluted human gene pool through the flood in Genesis. God brought restoration through the prophet Elijah, and the revival of true worship was brought about in Israel. The altars of Baal were torn down and discarded, as well as the bodies of several hundred slaughtered false prophets. John the Baptist came to restore all things, preceding the ministry of Christ, preaching the need for repentance.

Christ's redemptive work on the cross falls into this category of restoration as well. He met humanity where we were and did what needed to be done. Salvation is simple if you just place your faith and trust in Him. (I'll come back to this later.) I happen work in the area of restoration as well.

The Bible indicates that I am a mediator of another blood covenant. The Bible indicates quite plainly what the need is: Malachi 4:5-6 states that if God had not sent me ("sent" in John 9:1-11 has messianic connotations), He would have simply ended up destroying the areas that comprise (or will comprise) His kingdom. In other words, many people are coming to Christ as a result the world over. Fairly straight-forward and relevant to this present day and time. God is a God of the now.

(Speaking of the now, you need to bring your beliefs up to the present day and accept my sacrifice and life mission and purpose as well. This is simply not up for debate, and if it is in your mind, you'll be missing the boat.) Christ will one day purify and restore the Earth with fire, as per 2 Peter 3:10-12 at His second coming and the establishment of His earthly kingdom. At the end of the Millenial, the final battle (or "massacre") will transpire, leading to the Great White Throne Judgment and Hell being tossed into the Lake of Fire. This is the last edition of restoration on planet Earth, and the last that there will ever be.

No more death, violence, sickness, or strife will exist, as humanity will no longer be plagued by these persistent problems. One day at a time, I say. It all unfolds one day at a time. I'm in no rush.
